Validly Terms & Conditions

These terms define how Validly should be used and set clear expectations around document scanning, reminders, subscriptions, and user responsibility.

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern use of the Validly mobile app. By downloading, accessing, or using Validly, users agree to these terms.

2. What Validly does

Validly helps users scan, import, organize, preview, download, replace, and track documents. The app can suggest expiry or renewal dates from recognized text and can schedule local reminders based on user-confirmed information.

3. No professional advice

Validly is an organizational and reminder tool only. It does not provide legal, immigration, financial, insurance, government, travel, or compliance advice. Users are responsible for verifying deadlines with the relevant authority, issuer, employer, insurer, or government body.

4. User responsibility

Users must verify all extracted text, dates, categories, notes, renewal status, and reminder settings before relying on them. Users are also responsible for keeping documents current, replacing renewed documents, enabling notifications, and maintaining device security.

5. OCR and scan accuracy

Document scanning and text recognition may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unavailable for some countries, languages, document formats, image qualities, or damaged documents. Validly does not guarantee that OCR will identify the correct expiry date or document type.

6. Local data and device risk

Validly is designed to store documents locally on the user's device. If a device is lost, damaged, reset, shared, compromised, or not backed up according to the user's preferences, documents and reminders may be lost or exposed.

7. Validly Plus subscriptions

Validly includes a free document limit. Additional document capacity and paid features may require a Validly Plus subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing, may renew automatically, and can be managed or cancelled through the user's store account.

8. Acceptable use

Users may only store documents they own or are legally authorized to manage. Users must not use Validly to store illegal content, impersonate others, violate privacy rights, or misuse documents.

9. Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Validly. Features can vary by platform, operating system version, device capability, permissions, and store availability.

10. Disclaimers

Validly is provided as-is and as-available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Evyx AI disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, and error-free scanning or reminders.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Evyx AI is not liable for missed renewals, expired documents, denied applications, travel disruption, penalties, lost documents, lost data, device issues, notification failures, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of Validly.
